iPerspective: Bridging the Gap (Issue 34 – January/February 2017)

Major Deadlines are just ahead for our 2017 MSIM and MLIS program admissions!

The Master of Science in Information Management deadline is January 15 at 11:59pm PST, which happens to be the Sunday of the 3-day Martin Luther King, Jr. Day national holiday weekend this year. The iSchool Admissions Team will not be checking email January 14-16, so don’t wait until the last minute to ask your questions, as we won’t be back in the office until Tuesday, January 17!! The Master of Library and Information Science priority deadline is coming up soon as well on February 1 at 11:59pm PST – so make sure to have all of your materials ready for submission!

The admissions policy at the iSchool is that acceptance of late materials is only at the discretion of the Admissions Committees. This includes *all* materials–test scores, to recommendations. It is best to avoid the worries by getting everything in before the deadline. Don’t wait until the last minute!

Have questions about your application? Please contact us at iask@uw.edu, and we will get back to you as soon as we can. It is a very high volume time of year, so response times may be slightly longer than normal.
